We're always adding, updating, and refreshing Nerd York City, but we can't cover all of New York City alone. If you know of something we don't have in our listings - a new toy store in NoHo, an authentic Okinawan market in Jamaica, or the best place to score high tea in Park Slope - let us know. Please send ideas to tips@nerdyorkcity.com. But, before you do, please make sure you read the submission guidelines below.
Please submit calendar items at least two weeks prior to an event's start date. There is no fee to be listed, but with any submission, note that Nerd York City reserves the right to edit material for length, content, and style. Further, we're a curated list of odd and off-kilter events and happenings. Before submitting, understand that submitting something does not guarantee its inclusion. Think you're a match? Then send us an email with the following information...

Do you know or own a store, restaurant, gallery, museum, or other establishment that you feel is geeky enough for us? Send it in! We're always looking for new additions to our guidebook, and suggestions for additions can be sent in just like calendar updates. Just like calendar updates, too, know there is no fee to be listed, but with any submission, Nerd York City reserves the right to edit material, and we don't guarantee its inclusion. Or, in other words, Nerd York City is not a list of every tofu taco truck in Gowanus. Got it? Good. Please be sure to include the following information with shop, restaurant, or cultural suggestions...

But what if you found something wrong? Did you spot an error in our lists? A wrong address? An evil typo? Send it off to tips@nerdyorkcity.com. We aim to be accurate, compulsively spell check, and make updates whenever we're aware a shop moves or closes, but Manhattan real estate is pricey, so there's no telling what changes tomorrow will bring. (We miss you, Takashimaya!) If you've found something we've overlooked, please let us know.
Got money to promote a product and the irresponsibility to spend it here? First and foremost, know that Nerd York City is a guide for the geeks, nerds, and otaku of NYC, and we're looking for advertisers who get that. We're open to promote a number of things, but we want them to make sense in this same sandbox. It's free to submit your event, activity, or noodle shop to Nerd York City, but if you're interested in more, we're happy to discuss sponsorships, advertisements, and contests. Send us a message at ads@nerdyorkcity.com to talk. Sorry, no pop-ups, interstitials, or page peels from skeevydate.com (or skeevypoker.com, too).
Just want to talk to us? Get to know us better? Complain we give Macross preferential treatment over Gundam? You can reach Nerd York City's editors at nerds@nerdyorkcity.com for any general questions or comments about the site.
